Many premium spacer brands sell the longer bolts you need separately — often another $40+ per set. Every Project Fit spacer kit ships with all 10 bolts, sized for that spacer and matched to your wheels’ seat.

Spacer FAQ
What does hub-centric mean?
A hub-centric spacer has a center bore machined to match your hub and a lip that matches your wheel, so the wheel is centered by the hub — the same way it is from the factory — instead of relying on the lug bolts alone. That’s what keeps the wheel true and vibration-free.
Do I need longer lug bolts with wheel spacers?
Yes, for anything thicker than about 5mm. Spacers push the wheel outward, so your factory bolts no longer have enough thread engagement. Our spacer kits include 10 lug bolts already sized for that spacer. For 5mm spacers or if you’re buying spacers only, add the matching Project Fit lug bolts for your thread and seat type.
Radius seat or conical seat — which do I need?
It depends on your wheels, not your car. Most factory VW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche wheels use a radius (ball) seat. Most aftermarket wheels use a 60° conical seat. Using the wrong seat means the bolt only touches the wheel on a thin ring and can loosen, so match the bolt to the wheel.
Why is a pair of spacers sold together?
Spacers should always be run in pairs on the same axle so both sides sit at the same track width. Every Project Fit spacer set is 2 pieces — buy two sets for all four corners.
What does "Front Only" mean on some Mercedes-Benz spacers?
Those spacers are cut to clear the front hub and brake hardware and are intended for front axle use only. Use the standard Mercedes-Benz set for the rear.
Will these spacers fit my car?
Select your year, make and model at the top of any page and the site will show only parts that fit, plus a fitment check on every product page. If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering.
How do I install wheel spacers?
Clean the hub face, slide the spacer over the hub lip, mount the wheel and torque the new lug bolts to your vehicle manufacturer’s spec in a star pattern. Re-torque after the first 50 miles.
